COSUMAR S.A., SUNABEL and SUTA, subsidiaries of COSUMAR Group, obtain the renewal of the CGEM Label

The Confédération Générale des Entreprises du Maroc (CGEM) has renewed the Corporate Social Responsibility Label awarded to three COSUMAR Group companies: COSUMAR S.A., SUTA and SUNABEL.
The Label has been renewed for a three-year period, following the recommendation of the Attribution Committee, following an evaluation conducted by an independent third-party expert accredited by the CGEM. This assessment reviewed the company’s practices in relation to the Corporate Social Responsibility Charter of the CGEM, structured around nine areas of commitment aligned with Moroccan social legislation and universal standards relating to social and societal responsibility.
For COSUMAR Group, this renewal further strengthens a long-term CSR approach implemented across all professions of the national sugar industry, from upstream agricultural activities in the regions of Doukkala, Tadla, Gharb and Loukkos, to industrial activities involving extraction and refining.
Beyond recognition at the institutional level, this distinction reflects the continuity of a structured improvement approach, serving the Kingdom’s food sovereignty and the sustainable development of sugar-producing regions.
