CSR ACTIVITIES
The Cosumar Group’s activities are many and are consistent with our commitments to our employees, to civil society and to the whole ecosystem.
IN THE RURAL
WORLD
As a responsible aggregator, COSUMAR conducts multiple initiatives to support farmers and their families which are aimed at developing the regions and promoting access to healthcare and education. COSUMAR also works with civil society as part of many charitable initiatives.

AND THEIR FAMILIES
COSUMAR pays particular attention to the welfare and development of its employees and their families through multiples social benefits and the organization of various educational and cultural events.
IN FAVOR OF
ECOSYSTEM DEVELOPEMENT
A partnership agreement has been signed between COSUMAR and Attijariwafa Bank to provide support for micro, small and medium enterprises working in the company’s ecosystem, through an assistance and support system.
Cosumar has helped create 160 businesses involved in seasonal agricultural activities.
Cosumar has also signed CGEM’s convention for strengthening the partnership between large companies and SMEs, as well as a partnership agreement with Crédit Agricole du Maroc to support the sugar industry.
COSUMAR has thereby obtained the “productive ecosystem model” prize awarded by the Forum organizers.

CIVIL SOCIETY
Cosumar is involved in many socio-educational initiatives through partnerships with national NGOs – including l’Heure Joyeuse, Al Jisr and INJAZ Al Maghrib- and major Moroccan schools.
These initiatives led by the COSUMAR group have earned it several awards, including:
- CGEM’s CSR label granted to all Group subsidiaries
- “Top Performer” trophy awarded by Vigeo agency in 2011
- “Pioneers of corporate social responsibility and green economy in Africa” prize at the 2nd CSR Forum Africa in Tunis in 2013
- “Corporate citizen of year 2013” prize awarded by the Rotary Club Mers Sultan
